  • BABA – never enough of YOU…!

    I look at YOU to my heart’s content

    But still, it’s never enough

    I chant YOUR name night and day

    Whether the going is smooth or rough…

    I quench my thirst with YOUR pious name

    But still, it never goes

    Endlessly I have YOUR sight

    It truly ends my woes…

    I see YOU here, and I see YOU there

    But still, I’m never satisfied

    I search for YOU everywhere 

    In this world so big and wide…

    I know YOU are the wirepuller

    And nothing is there which YOU can’t do

    But every time I see YOUR magic 

    I wonder how it can be true…

    I know YOU me love very much

    But every day I want more than before

    Please never cease amazing me

    For I crave for more and more… 

  • My Baba… My Guru… My All…!

    I sit at Your feet, mesmerised 

    YOU are my Baba, I’m Your child

    Fondly, as YOU caress my head

    All my fears I start to shed

    Looking at YOUR love-filled eyes

    Deepest of my anxiety dies

    YOUR one look cleanses me

    YOU hold my hand and I feel free

    YOUR enigmatic smile 

    and – when YOU lovingly say “My child”

    Makes my emotions run wild 

    My tears flow incessant, but I feel mild

    YOU are my Baba, my strength, my all

    At YOUR lotus feet, I repeatedly befall… 

  • Towards YOU…!

    I see this creeper inching towards You everyday

    I wonder what it is wanting to say

    Gradually, it grows in length

    Enhancing itself and gaining strength

    Curiously, I wait to see

    When will it finally touch Your feet

    It is headed for the most pious joy

    Its victory, I will heartily enjoy!

    You’re the only light in my life

    All else is bleak

    You’re the only peace in me

    Nothing else I seek

    You’re my heart’s calling

    All else is noise

    You’re the one I want to be with

    Who else stands a choice

    You’re the one I want with me

    No one else is true

    You’re my only friend Baba

    None as You, old or new

    You’re the only rainbow I see

    All else is sheer gloom

    Your smile lifts my spirits

    Everything else is doomed

    How do I tell thee Baba

    What all You mean to me

    Without You I am meaningless

    No point being, if YOU I don’t see…!

    YOU are the SUN and I, Your sunshine

    Like a vine, to YOU I entwine 

    Without YOU there can never be a me

    Without YOU, I have no identity 

    YOU are my boulder, to YOU I owe my strength 

    YOU are my saviour; I know for me YOU’ll go any length

    YOU are my guide, YOUR teachings I try to imbibe

    YOU are my God, YOUR feet are my shrine 

    YOU always love, YOUR caress is not seen but felt

    YOUR love is the purest, YOU make the toughest heart melt

    YOU are MY SAI, YOUR name I chant day and night 

    YOU are MY BABA, I live by YOUR face, YOUR name and YOUR light…!

    This year, that year, every year
    With You always, absolutely near
    Holding Your hand as I walk on
    Chanting Your name, humming Your song

    No one can understand what You do for me
    Your loving grace, hope everyone can see
    Make me worthy of being Your tool
    To spread Your grace, Your loving rules

    Teach me Sai to live by You
    To see Your self in every view
    In each of my life’s rendezvous
    May I choose You, just always YOU!

    Throughout the night, and throughout the day

    I can talk to YOU, if I have my say

    Where-ever I go, whichever way

    YOUR face I want to see, if I may

    Each breath that I take, consciously or not so much

    Want to think of YOU, if I’m allowed as such

    With every heartbeat reverberating within me

    I want to soak myself in YOUR divinity

    With every word that I know or have ever learnt

    I want to talk to YOU, even if this tongue is burnt

    No moment of this life is worthwhile 

    If YOU haven’t looked at me and smiled

    No one can ever be what YOU are

    My father, my guru, my Baba – you’re near, even when far…!

    Love YOU so much that it makes me cry

    With YOUR name I want to be identified

    For YOUR association I want to apply

    For every inch closer to YOU, I want to try

    No one for me to offer the solace

    Which YOU provide through YOUR miraculous ways

    From dawn to dusk, with each breath that I take

    I want to live for YOUR name’s sake

    With a wish in me to meet YOU at the end

    I’ll happily face all the challenges that this life will send!
