As I walk this rocky road
My feet are stumbling as I carry
This unbearable load…
Eyes are welling up with tears
My breath feels heavy and rugged
Mind is full of doubts and fears
My state of mind is worried…
Heart feels weak and I don’t know
How will I fare this test
YOUR name I chant along
As I tread, forgetting all the rest…
Just YOU my Baba, my saviour, my guide
Can help me along this way
Please calm my unsettled mind
And hold me strong, for I sway…
I know YOU are there for sure
I know YOU won’t let me fall

Lifting me from the misery
YOU save me from possible injury…
Enwrapping me in YOUR gracious care
YOU caution me when I am unaware
At times when I cry helplessly
YOU stroke my head most tenderly…
In times of fear YOU hold my hand
In the toughest situations, YOU send a plan
In inertia, YOU become my energy
YOU reassure me to calm my anxiety….
So thankful that YOU are in my life

Just gratitude flows seamlessly

With a heart so heavy and eyes so numb
I look at Thee with questions some
Why am I the target of this?
Why do I have to live with this?
When I see clearly what they do to me?
Why can’t I let myself free?
Why do I need to stay chained this way?
I would like to leave, if I may
Did I really choose this for me
If yes, then what is yet to see
To reach where You want me to be
Oh can I reach there sooner please
Make me, before this breaks me
A plea with all my heart to flee
Help me and light my path ahead
Please guide me – like “I will”, You said!

Not one who is not in pain in this lifeNot one who is free from some major strifeAs I meet people, such pain I seeIs this how You wanted Your world to be?
Fake smiles, each fighting gross painAll the advices just go in vainTears and sobs and compromiseBefore age we need to act wise
It hurts me immense and I want to helpIt breaks my heart to hear them yelpI want to give them the balm they seekAtleast give strength to those who’re weak
